About ovalsand

It started with exhaustion—the kind that creeps in slowly until it becomes the air you breathe. Cecilia knows what it feels like to give everything to your work, to push through the fatigue, to silence the inner voice telling you to slow down. She had spent decades excelling in high-pressure environments, balancing a demanding career with an endless to-do list. But success, she realized, felt empty when it came at the cost of well-being.

Something had to change. And nature showed her the way.
Her turning point came during a sunset walk along the beach, feet sinking into the sand, waves lapping at the shore. In that moment of connection with the earth, water and air, she found a clarity and peace that no office achievement had ever provided. This wasn't just a fleeting moment of calm—it was a profound realization about what truly matters.

Her journey into holistic wellness through nature, movement, and mindfulness wasn't just about personal healing—it became a mission. Armed with a Bachelor's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master's in Human Resource Development from Drexel University, she sought to understand not just how stress affects the body, but how reconnection with the natural world could transform it.

She didn't just study wellness—she lived it in harmony with nature's wisdom.
Cecilia earned her e-RYT 500 certification through Yoga Alliance and trained in Vinyasa, SUP (Stand-Up Paddle board) Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, learning how movement in natural settings can be a powerful tool for transformation. Her practice evolved to explore the healing qualities of different natural elements: the grounding stability of earth beneath her feet, the adaptable flow of water supporting her practice, and the expansive freedom of air in suspended movement.

Her certification as a Health and Wellness Coach from the Mayo Clinic gave her the tools to help others redefine their relationship with stress, self-care, and personal growth—always guided by nature's rhythms and wisdom. She also trained in Conflict Resolution and Mediation, ensuring that healing extends beyond the mat—into careers, relationships, and daily life.
